(“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit our websites (including nextmountainadvisors.com and nxtmt.info), submit a form, call us, or interact with our advertising on platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram).

2. Information we collect
Depending on how you contact us, we may collect:

- Request and preference information — information you provide about burial/cremation preferences, beneficiaries, or other senior-related questions on our forms.
- Communications — messages you send by phone, email, contact forms, or lead forms; notes from conversations when you speak with us.
- Marketing and lead-source data — which ad, form, or webpage led you to us (for example, a Meta lead ad or our website).
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, and similar logs our hosting provider or security tools may record when you visit our site.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of data through our public website forms unless you choose to include them in a free-text field. Please do not submit Social Security numbers, full medical records, or payment card numbers through our website forms.
3. How we collect information
- Forms on our website (including final expense request forms and contact forms).
- Lead forms on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and similar advertising platforms, when you choose to submit them.
- Phone calls, voicemail, email, and text messages to or from our business numbers.
- Cookies and similar technologies used by our hosting or analytics providers (see Section 8).
4. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to your requests for information about insurance and related topics.
- Call or message you back about the product or service you asked about.
- Help determine which insurance options may be appropriate to discuss with you.
- Coordinate with licensed insurance carriers, agencies, or producers as needed to fulfill your request.
- Improve our website, advertising, and client service.
- Comply with law, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms.
- Maintain business records as permitted or required.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information with:
- Service providers that help us operate (for example: website hosting, email delivery, cloud databases, spreadsheet tools, SMS/phone providers, and advertising platforms). These providers are authorized to use information only as needed to perform services for us.
- Insurance carriers and licensed partners when necessary to quote, enroll, or service a product you request.
- Meta and other ad platforms — when you submit a lead form on their platform, your submission is also processed under their terms and policies in addition to ours.
- Legal and safety purposes — if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization, subject to appropriate protections.
6. Communications — calls and texts (TCPA)
By submitting a form on our website or on a Meta lead ad that links to this policy, or by giving us your phone number and asking us to contact you, you consent to receive calls and text messages from Next Mountain Advisors Inc. at the number you provide, including autodialed or prerecorded calls where permitted by law, for purposes related to your request (for example, final expense or Medicare information).
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You can opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP. You may request to be placed on our do-not-call list by calling (828) 782-3777 or emailing info@nxtmt.info. Opting out of marketing messages does not prevent us from contacting you about an existing request or relationship where contact is permitted by law.
7. Health information and HIPAA
We are an insurance marketing and advisory business, not a healthcare provider, health plan, or medical clearinghouse. Information you share with us for insurance education or enrollment is generally not protected health information under HIPAA in the way medical records at a clinic or hospital are protected. If we receive health-related details you choose to share, we treat them as confidential business information and use them only as described in this policy.
8. Cookies and analytics
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for basic operation, security, and performance. Third-party services (such as hosting, fonts, or security tools) may set their own cookies subject to their policies. You can adjust cookie settings in your browser. Blocking cookies may affect some site features.
9. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including follow-up on your request, compliance with insurance and marketing laws, and resolution of disputes. We may retain certain records longer where required or advisable for legal, tax, or regulatory reasons.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal information, or to opt out of certain sharing. North Carolina residents and residents of other states with privacy laws may contact us to exercise applicable rights.
To make a request, email info@nxtmt.info with the subject line “Privacy Request” or call (828) 782-3777. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights where prohibited by law.
